GSA Federal Auto Auction Gets You Good Vehicles
A General Services Administration, or gsa auto auction is a federal auto auction. This allows the public to acquire a wide range of vehicles which are hard to find in other places. Between 35,000 and 45,000 cars are offered up for sale every year either on the internet or around the nation.

They are called GSA Fleet Vehicle Sales, which is a division of the General Services Administration. There might be ambulances, or police vehicles. Vans and pickup trucks are common, but also things like sport utility vehicles and busses are available through them. Where else are you going to get a bus?
At a US federal auto auction, the thing to look for is that the site says .gov in the URL link. The .gov has to be on the left of the first slash, too (after the http://, that is).

It should say something like gsa.gov Then, anything might come after the .gov Watch out for tricky sites which go something like gsa-gov.org or gsa.org/gov Both of those are just being tricky. If they're trying to hide their intent, they are liars. A gsa auto auction should be on a site which says .gov Tri state auto auction is based out of Chicago. Their website is at tsaachicago.com They have dealer auctions, public auctions, internet auctions; but they also have licensed mechanics who can work on the vehicles before they are sent out. Their warranty service work is well-known and they can make the cars look top-shape with their Paint and Body shop. Their reconditioning center allows the vehicle to be washed, vacuumed and detailed. Interior & carpet cleaning is done on-site. They have title services, so they can change over lease and repo titles. If you're from a particular state, they can deal with Consignment & State titles. They can stamp affidavit forms. For transporation they have a vehicle towing facility, their car haulers and transportation services are handy to have and there's a fast turnaround. As far as glass repair goes, they can change it on-site. They even have an on-site key service. If you go to auto salvage auctions, you will find automobiles which have been in accidents. If it were just a fender-bender then it probably wouldn't have ended up in the salvage yard, so usually people only purchase salvage if they're into melting down a car, or disassembling it for parts. Generally, salvage isn't a place where you'll see a public car auction, where the general public can bid on cars. All-in-all, probably the best bet for the public is a gsa auto auction. There are interesting vehicles that you can choose from, and sometimes you can even get such things as police cars, ambulances and busses. GSA federal auto auctions are organized and put on by the government, so you know they can be trusted. You can even get Government property that's for sale on their site.
