A Governmental GSA Auto Auction

GSA stands for Governmental Service Administration. So, a gsa auto auction means that you get cars straight from the government.

The government website is: gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/gsaauctions If you go right to it, you'll ensure that you're not being ripped off by some company who buys things up from the government site, then calls it a GSA auction, which it would have been.

If you go directly to this website, you'll ensure that you get your lowest price on Government surplus, which includes automobiles and trucks. It lets you select different things under the second drop-down menu such as 'Vehicles'. And, in the first box you can type the kind of vehicle. This will allow you to purchase astoundingly-low prices. The current bid on a 2002 Chevrolet 4x4 Pickup in CA is $2999, for example.

A gsa vehicles auction will let you get the absolute cheapest price on a car. I've heard of some ridiculously low prices that have been paid for cars. If you don't mind purchasing a car that other people generally don't ask for, then you could potentially get really incredible deals.

Realize that if you type ' cheap car auctions' into Google, you probably won't get cheap car auctions. The world if filled with disreputable people, so make sure you go to a site like a government site, that way you'll get someone that you can trust. A gsa auto auction site is a good way to go, in that case.

Also, realize that there are many sites out there which will call themselves a " gsa auto auction". Look for the letters gov at the end of the URL. If it doesn't say .gov, then it's not a government site.

Thus, autoauctions.gov is correct, ww.gsa.gov/autoauction is fine, gsaauctions.gov is correct; but amerautoauction.com/gsava.aspx is not fine. They are not from the government and this is not a true government site. brothersoft.com/downloads/gsa-auto-auction.html is another one which isn't a real government site.

An online car auction will let you bid on cars right on-line. Generally, you just give them your E-Mail address, you make sure that you have properly installed their Java engine, and then you start bidding. They generally will have a section which will help you if you can't get the java engine installed properly.

If you're a dealer, then dealer auto auctions are good to look for. Again, you should always tack on the city you're from when you're searching in Google. You can try putting quotes around the "dealer auto auctions", or also try it without the quotes. Try putting the city name outside the quotes.

Remember that when you're using quotes, you're saying, "look for pages with this exact word sequence in it".

Located in Chicago, the tri state auto auction at tsaachicago.com covers a wide range in the Midwest. It will hold a Silent Auction that is for car dealers, only, on Thursdays. On Wednesdays, they'll have a dealer auction. If you are part of the public, a Public Auction is available to you on Saturdays. This makes it like it were an 'old fashioned' auction house.

So, if you want cheap cars, try either a gsa auto auction, or a local auto auction.
